MAVEN – The Big Reveal!

Today is the day!

I’ve been bouncing out of my chair for about a week now, overwhelmed, excited, terrified, humbled, grateful… so many things. But IT’S FINALLY HERE!

On May 4th, I put out a call to anyone that had a blog that might be interested in helping me reveal the cover for my upcoming release, MAVEN. I did this thinking I would get a handful of folks that would say yes, maybe, oh, ten, possibly a dozen. I sat back and waited. I saw my friends RT the request. I sent out a few emails to blogs I wanted to specifically target because of their audience (genre specific). But mostly I just crossed my fingers and hoped I wasn’t throwing a party no one would show up for.

And then… it got crazy.

The sign-up sheet Dani Morales put up started collecting names, emails, and websites. Another site put out their own call for participants. My email inbox BLEW UP like I’ve never seen before. In the end, I was left sitting here, slack-jawed and bug-eyed at the number of sites this cover was set to appear on.

My original plan was to reveal the cover here and link to the other places that have it up, if for no other reason but to thank them for lending me some space on their pages. Due to the overwhelming response, however, I’ve decided to do up a post only of links where you can find the cover and maybe an excerpt. So, prepare yourself for some major linkage here, guys. At last count, it was almost SIXTY DIFFERENT SITES doing the cover reveal.

Before you go, though, I should tell you one thing. When I sent out the information to these wonderful people, I included three choice excerpts, different ones than those I’ve posted here before. My instructions were for each poster to pick one of these. You will have to click on multiple sites if you want to read all three, but (hopefully) you should find them all. So there’s a little incentive for you to dig through more than one of these links if you’d like something beyond the pretty picture. I’ll try to label each with a number (1, 2, or 3) to indicate which excerpt is up. If you don’t see a number, there may not be an excerpt included or I haven’t had time to check it yet. With so many sites participating, things may get a little insane, but I will do my best to make this easier for you.

I can’t even with this cover reveal. If the launch of the book goes half this well, I might never recover from the pure elation.
