It’s become apparent I’m really bad at keeping up with the blogging thing. How is it already Halloween???
There’s always new things popping up for me, so if you’re not already following me on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, that’s the best way to get the news as it happens. :)
Anyway, so what am I up to these days? Well, a few things. Fun things, of course!
First up, I mentioned a bit about wands the last time I posted here a few months back. I was very adamant the wandmaking was not going to become a permanent thing. Naturally, I made myself a liar! I now have an Etsy store set up for the wands I make from time to time, although I haven’t made any new ones in a while, as I’ve been busy with other stuff and life bits. So if that’s a thing you’re interested in, I do encourage you to check out S. Huchton’s Shoppe of Sorcerous Selections! I solemnly swear all proceeds will go towards Christmas presents for my kids this year. :D
And speaking of Christmas…
I HAVE A NEW BOOK RELEASING TOMORROW!
It is cute, romantic, and chock full of Christmas magic! I 100% promise this is a clean read for those sensitive to language or content. It is straight up Hallmark sweetness and light and goodness and… Oh yeah, SANTA!
Of course, I’ll be posting links tomorrow, but it’s already been uploaded as of this second because I didn’t want to stress about it not going live in time with all the Halloween activities happening tonight. And since it is Halloween, I’m going to refrain from talking about it more until tomorrow morning. Respect to my Halloween peeps. That said, tomorrow the mittens come off and EVERYTHING will be covered in sugar plums and candy canes and tinsel and sparkly lights!!!
Lastly, once release day madness dies down, I’ll be diving head first into NaNoWriMo! I am fully committed to finishing Make Bright the Arrows in November, so y’all have some space opera stuff to look forward to. As an added challenge, I’m helping out at my eldest minion’s high school with weekly visits to the participants of the Young Writers Program. It’s a group of really awesome kids, so I’m looking forward to watching their progress through the month and helping them stay motivated. This definitely includes bribery. If you’re participating in NaNoWriMo madness, too, add me as a writing buddy so we can be mad together! Also, my blurb for Make Bright the Arrows is on my profile, for any curious about this project I’ve been plugging away at since April.
But, I think that about wraps it up for now. I will definitely be back tomorrow with release day info, so hit the subscribe button if you’d like a reminder in your email!
Happy Halloween!
