First, I want you to watch this. Click me.
Go ahead. I’ll wait.
Inspired by that video (you better have watched it and not just said you did. I’ll totally know if you’re lying.), I’ve decided to conduct an experiment of my own.
I think we all want to be happier in our day to day lives. Who doesn’t? So, I’m going to give this whole gratitude thing a whirl. For the entire month of October, I’m going to post on this site every day (or at least I’ll attempt to). Each post will be a letter to someone who has influenced my life in an important way. I’m calling it my Month of Thanks.
Of course, no one is expected to do this with me, but if you’d like to play along at home, I invite you to do so. You don’t have to do it every single day, maybe only once a week, or once the entire month. Even if you don’t have your own blog, make it a tweet, a Facebook status update, or something you share on Google+. If you decide to join in, I welcome you to drop the link to whatever you do in the comments on the post that goes up that day. Share your gratitude with the world.
Or don’t. Even if it’s in a private message to someone, a phone call, or a letter, why not make October your Month of Thanks?
The countdown to experiment begins. Who are you grateful to?
